Discover the beauty of American Sign Language in this interactive, hands-on class designed for curious kids! Students will learn the ASL alphabet, everyday vocabulary, and common phrases through games, partner activities, and creative exercises. We'll also explore Deaf culture with respect to care, using resources created by members of the Deaf community.
The class is taught by a hearing educator who is not a member of the Deaf community but is committed to presenting ASL accurately and respectfully. Materials are thoughtfully selected to honor the language's cultural roots while making it fun and accessible for beginners.
No prior experience needed - just bring your hands and your enthusiasm!
