K-2 Teacher

Love to Learn with Mrs. Monica

Please email for more info

Hi! I'm Mrs. Monica, and I have a passion for helping young learners discover a love of learning. I began homeschooling my own three children in 2011, and that journey inspired my love for teaching. This past year, we celebrated our youngest graduating from high school. Looking back, I have no regrets. Homeschooling gave our family an incredible gift of time together, and I am so grateful for the memories we made along the way. As I begin my fifth year teaching K-2 at Pathfinders, I continue to enjoy creating engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching children in a variety of settings, including Azusa Release Time, Sunday school, Awana, Vacation Bible School, and now K–2 at Pathfinders. I also enjoy encouraging and supporting homeschooling families on their own journeys. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, and savoring my first cup of morning coffee. This year, we're especially excited to welcome our very first grandchild! I can't wait to encourage your little one, celebrate their accomplishments, and help them discover a love of learning! ♥️

We Spark Learning

Ani Janbazian, a native Canadian, earned a BA in Arts Management from the University of Toronto. As an Educational Exhibit Designer and Educational Interpreter at several museums, she was trained to relay complex concepts to students using approachable hands-on methods to make a lasting impact. As a youth programs coordinator at several non-profits, she had to engage large groups of youngsters for big chunks of time — so activities that were dynamic, thematic, and cooperative were always a hit! Employment at four educational toy retailers also made it clear that the most effective way for children to learn is simply through play. As a homeschool mother of three, it seemed natural to use these very ideals to make learning come alive for her children. She began with creating interactive, highly themed, game-based curriculum for her own kids to experience and explore — And it was only a matter of time before it transformed into enrichment classes to offer to others in the homeschool community too. Since 2015, Mrs. Ani has been on a mission to spark intrigue and motivate children to learn with enthusiasm.

Anchor & Arrow

For more than 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching and homeschooling students of all ages. As a homeschool mom of three, with one already in college, I understand both the challenges and the wonderful rewards that come with homeschooling. Over the years, I’ve taught students from TK through high school in math, language arts, science, history, art, music, and more. With a degree in Interior Design, I also love bringing creativity and real-world, hands-on experiences into my lessons. I believe every student learns differently, so I meet students where they are and help them move forward with confidence. My goal is to create a warm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, trying new things, and discovering what they’re capable of. Whether I’m supporting a homeschool curriculum, teaching a class, or helping a student strengthen a specific skill, I want learning to feel meaningful and enjoyable. More than simply teaching facts, I hope to build confidence, encourage curiosity, and help students develop a love of learning that stays with them for years to come.

Greg Wyatt is a homeschool educator, media professional, and father of four with more than thirty years of experience in television, video production, and educational media. Throughout his career he has worked as an editor, videographer, director, and production supervisor, creating content for audiences ranging from local community television viewers to national advertising campaigns. Today, Greg brings that professional experience into the classroom through engaging, hands-on courses designed specifically for homeschool students. His classes emphasize practical skills, critical thinking, creativity, and real-world application. Subjects include Journalism and Yearbook, where students learn writing, design, photography, media ethics, and responsible use of emerging technologies; Real World Ready, a life-skills course focused on preparing students for adulthood; and 3D Design and Printing, where students learn the fundamentals of digital modeling, additive manufacturing, and engineering through project-based learning. Greg believes students learn best by doing. Whether conducting mock phone calls, designing publications, creating 3D models, or solving real-world problems, his classes encourage students to develop skills they can use immediately and build upon for years to come. His goal is to help students become capable, thoughtful, and self-reliant adults while making learning both meaningful and enjoyable.
