Journalism & Yearbook

$300.00

Students will learn the fundamentals of journalism through a combination of classroom lectures and hands-on, practical execution. Simultaneously, students will also be involved in the production of The Compass, the Pathfinders Yearbook. Aspects of this class include:

Producing stories for a newsletter for the PathFinders community, consisting of writing news stories, interviews and other articles.

Contributing to the design and content of the PathFinders 2025-2026 Compass Yearbook.

A particular emphasis will be placed on photojournalism, so access to a quality camera is recommended but not required.
