Fun With Math
This engaging and interactive math class is designed for first and second-grade students, following the California Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. Students will develop foundational math skills through hands-on activities, problem-solving, and real-world applications.
Grade 1 Focus:

Understanding and using whole numbers, including addition and subtraction within 20.

Developing number sense and place value up to 120.

Exploring basic measurement concepts (length, weight, and time).

Recognizing and identifying shapes and their attributes.
Grade 2 Focus:

Building fluency in addition and subtraction within 100.

Understanding place value up to 1,000.

Introducing foundations of multiplication and division.

Exploring measurement, data, and time (including money concepts).

Identifying and working with basic geometric shapes and their properties.
This course uses engaging games, manipulatives, and real-life scenarios to help students build confidence and a strong mathematical foundation. Through interactive lessons, students will develop problem-solving skills and a love for math!
