  • This engaging and interactive math class is designed for first and second-grade students, following the California Common Core State Standards for Mathematics. Students will develop foundational math skills through hands-on activities, problem-solving, and real-world applications.

    Grade 1 Focus:

    • Understanding and using whole numbers, including addition and subtraction within 20.

    • Developing number sense and place value up to 120.

    • Exploring basic measurement concepts (length, weight, and time).

    • Recognizing and identifying shapes and their attributes.

    Grade 2 Focus:

    • Building fluency in addition and subtraction within 100.

    • Understanding place value up to 1,000.

    • Introducing foundations of multiplication and division.

    • Exploring measurement, data, and time (including money concepts).

    • Identifying and working with basic geometric shapes and their properties.

    This course uses engaging games, manipulatives, and real-life scenarios to help students build confidence and a strong mathematical foundation. Through interactive lessons, students will develop problem-solving skills and a love for math!
