Shipwreck Isle Chronicles
Shipwrecked on a remote island, you will explore your exotic surroundings, scavenge for supplies, tame the wilderness, and band together for survival through perilous adventures -- all the while journaling your epic story.
Each “survivor” will keep an inventory of valuable items you have scrounged for in the search for more island resources. As we uncover new areas of this mysterious island, your weekly explorations will serve as the journal prompt or inspiration for your creative writing assignments. Mini lessons on writing techniques, literary devices, and poetry will be explored, but the main goal is to capture your island adventures in writing!
Some drawing, crafts, games, prizes and other creative expressions will also be incorporated throughout the year to fit our Island theme. Join the adventure!
